Our very own Johnny Philpot headedoff to Rome in June to present his paper “Developing and optimizing site-specific G0 correlations using SCPTu data” at the 7ICEGE conference (VII International Conference on Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering). “The Olympics of earthquake geotechnical engineering” this special event only happens once every four years, stimulating fruitful technical and scientific interaction within the fields of seismology, geophysics, geology, structural as well as infrastructural engineering.

Written by Johnny Philpot, Nick Barounis and Tom Smith, their paper aims to give back to the engineering community by collating research and forming a methodology that allows other engineers to develop and optimize their own G0 correlations.

Stay tuned to for the paper to be released in our Resources page.
