We’re looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Whangārei team. This is an opportunity to build strong technical foundations early in your career while living in one of New Zealand’s best regions for outdoor life, recreation, and balance.
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of real-world projects across:
Site investigations and fieldwork
Geotechnical reporting and interpretation
Foundation and earthworks assessments
Slope stability and natural hazard projects
Construction monitoring and observations
You won’t be stuck behind a desk, you’ll get hands-on experience early, supported by senior engineers who are invested in your development.
About You
We’re interested in graduates who are:
Completing (or have recently completed) a BE (Hons) or equivalent, with a geotechnical interest
Curious, practical, and keen to learn
Comfortable working both in the field and the office
Good communicators who enjoy working as part of a team
Interested in building a long-term career in consulting engineering
Previous experience isn’t essential. Attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn matter most.
