About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Professional Civil Engineer (CPEng) to join our Civil team in either Whangārei or Christchurch. This is a senior leadership role with a strong focus on business development, networking, and generating new project opportunities, while also contributing to technical excellence and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
You will play a key role in:
Leading business development and building client relationships.
Driving project opportunities through networking and industry engagement.
Reviewing designs, ensuring quality and compliance across projects.
Supporting strategic decision-making during project delivery.
Mentoring, guiding, and developing junior and intermediate engineers.
This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who enjoys both technical leadership and client-facing responsibilities, with the opportunity to shape the future direction of our civil engineering team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
10+ years’ experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
Proven ability to lead client relationships and generate workload.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a collaborative approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
